Tsubaki Kabelschlepp Unveils New Aluminium Hole Stay System for LG Series Cable Carriers

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp, a German manufacturer specializing in cable carriers, chain-compatible cables, and conveyor and protection systems, has launched a new aluminium hole stay system for its LG series. The company claims this innovation extends the service life of the cable carrier while improving the overall system’s sustainability. Key benefits include “optimal routing of heavy cables and hoses in the neutral bending line, flexible 1-mm increments, and ease of installation and servicing.”

“The less strain on cables and hoses within a cable carrier, the longer their lifespan,” says Werner Eul, Head of Industry & Product Management at Tsubaki Kabelschlepp. He compares the new aluminium hole stays to handling cables with “kid gloves.” Made from high-quality aluminium, the stays gently guide cables and hoses, reducing maintenance, minimizing downtime, and contributing to sustainability through prolonged component lifespan.

The hole stays are custom-designed for each application, factoring in the number, diameter, and position of cables within the cross-section, ensuring optimal guidance in the neutral bending zone.

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp emphasizes that customized dividers reduce relative movement between cables and stays, providing optimal guidance at all times.

“We offer hole stays in both divided and single-part versions, depending on the application,” Eul explains. This customization ensures proper guidance for larger hoses, such as those used in hydraulic systems. With 1-mm increments up to 1,500 mm, the stays can be perfectly adapted to the available space.

The aluminium stays are easily accessible via screw connections, simplifying cable and hose installation. The stay arrangement can be selected for specific applications, either fully stayed (VS) on every chain link or half-stayed (HS) on every other link. In addition to the classic round version, cross-sections for flat cables are also available.

“With these aluminium hole stays, we provide an innovative solution that not only extends the service life and sustainability of our cable carrier systems but can also be flexibly adapted to customer needs,” Eul concludes. “Their robust design makes them ideal for heavy-duty applications like steelworks or other harsh environments.”
