Egyptair Cargo Partners with Unilode for ULD Management
Unilode to Enhance Egyptair Cargo’s Operations with Digital ULD Solutions and Long-Term Partnership
Egyptair Cargo has entered into a long-term partnership with Unilode for ULD management, repair, and digital services.
The agreement covers the carrier’s ULD needs for both its freighter aircraft and the cargo capacity of its affiliated passenger airline.
Unilode will provide Egyptair Cargo with digitalized PMC and PAG pallets from its global pool and grant access to its e-ULD app and customer dashboard, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling advanced data analytics.
Unilode noted that Egyptair Cargo operates one of the largest air cargo services in Africa, flying to 100 destinations worldwide, and is the second-largest carrier by fleet size on the continent.
Unilode’s CEO, Mohammed Akhlaq, expressed enthusiasm over the partnership, saying, “We are excited about Egyptair Cargo’s decision to enter a long-term ULD management agreement with Unilode, further expanding our presence in Africa.”
The deal with Egyptair Cargo adds to a series of recent partnerships, including agreements with Air India and Air New Zealand. Under the Air India contract, Unilode will manage ULDs and supply digitalized containers and pallets from its pool for the carrier’s fleet.
