Crane Check Lifting Services has completed the installation and commissioning of two freestanding jib cranes for an undisclosed client, supplying, installing and testing the equipment to meet specific handling and safety requirements.
Each crane has a safe working load (SWL) of 500 kg, with one fitted with a 7 m jib arm and the other with a 3.5 m jib arm. The configurations were tailored to the client’s operational needs.
The project scope included the structural installation of the columns and jib arms, followed by the integration of Liftket single-fall electric chain hoists. Crane Check’s team also completed full electrical wiring, pendant control setup and system integration.
Following installation, both cranes underwent load testing to verify safe operation, smooth slewing and consistent lifting performance.
Crane Check Lifting Services lifting equipment service engineer Vinny Nolan said the installation and commissioning were completed in line with customer requirements, with both cranes successfully load tested to confirm reliable and safe operation.
