KLN Logistics Group has introduced a new 10,500-kilometre Road Feeder Service (RFS) connecting Europe with key markets across the Middle East, providing businesses with a reliable multimodal freight solution as regional air cargo capacity continues to recover.
The new service links Europe with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, and Egypt, offering door-to-door transit times ranging from 15 to 25 days. Designed as an alternative between air and ocean freight, the solution provides greater flexibility for shippers seeking dependable cargo transportation across the region.
KLN manages the entire logistics process under a single contract, covering cargo collection in Europe through to final delivery in the Middle East. The service also includes customs clearance, permit management, border coordination, and customs-escorted transit where required, simplifying complex cross-border freight movements.
The Road Feeder Service is available for non-stackable palletised cargo weighing up to 23 tonnes per truck and can accommodate dangerous goods, provided all original shipping documentation is submitted at the point of origin. Cargo insurance remains the responsibility of the shipper.
According to Martin Stoekenbroek, Managing Director – EMEA at KLN, the new service provides customers with an effective transport option that balances cost and reliability while reducing dependence on a single mode of transport.
The service is particularly suited to exporters serving Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets, enabling businesses to maintain consistent supply chains through a professionally managed overland logistics network.
