Konecranes has supplied its latest X-series crane to Croatian packaging company Paklog d.o.o., enhancing the efficiency and safety of their growing packing operations in Zagreb. Ordered in May 2025, the crane and its runway structure are now fully operational, marking the first crane installation in Paklog’s facility.
Paklog specializes in wooden transport packaging and industrial packing for sea, air, land, and rail cargo. The new X-series crane will streamline load handling, increase throughput, and reinforce safe operational practices.
Installed on a runway supported by existing concrete pillars, the crane features a 5-ton load capacity, a 7.5-meter span, a lifting height of 5.5 meters, and a 43-meter runway length. Key features of the Konecranes X-series crane include:
Radio control with integrated display and stepless buttons for precise remote handling of packaged goods.
Integrated safety lights to improve visibility in busy packing areas.
Stepless inverter for smooth hoisting and travel, ensuring accurate positioning of loads.
DIN hook and finger protection to reduce risks during frequent handling.
Smart Features such as Hook Centering, Follow Me, Snag Prevention, and Sway Control, which optimize load positioning and operational safety.
Smart wireless components for real-time monitoring and simplified maintenance.
Kristina Kleković, Managing Director at Paklog, commented: “We chose Konecranes because of their extensive experience and global reputation.
