SAS Cargo has appointed Allied Aviation as its General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA) for India, effective 1 October 2026, supporting the airline’s five weekly cargo services between Mumbai and Copenhagen.
SAS Cargo will operate the Copenhagen–Mumbai route using Airbus A330 aircraft, while Allied Aviation will manage cargo sales, supervision and revenue optimisation across the Indian market.
Expanding Cargo Capacity Between India and Scandinavia
The appointment gives Indian exporters access to direct cargo capacity into Copenhagen, with onward connectivity through SAS Cargo’s wider network across Scandinavia and other international markets.
Allied Aviation executive director Kritika Seth said the agreement adds an important airline partnership to the company’s portfolio and will support exporters seeking access to European markets.
The company will target a diverse range of cargo for the Mumbai services, including pharmaceuticals, perishables, engineering goods and machinery, garments and e-commerce shipments.
Allied Aviation to Support Cargo Sales Across India
Allied Aviation will use its established network of freight-forwarding relationships to build demand for the new Mumbai services and support SAS Cargo’s growth in the Indian cargo market.
The GSSA’s Indian network includes offices in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
The partnership strengthens the commercial support behind SAS Cargo’s Mumbai operation while providing exporters with additional air cargo access between India and Copenhagen and connections across the wider SAS network.
